INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION OF THE DEPARTMENT ON EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY

In accordance with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan "On approval of the concept of development of the higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030" (08.10.2019, No. PF-5847) Andijan State University is the leader to increase the QS international rating cooperation relations with foreign higher education institutions are being established. In particular, on June 9, 2022, a bilateral memorandum was signed with Turkey's Ege University, and this marked an important stage not only in our university, but also in the fields of natural sciences. In the memorandum, important priorities are defined, such as the implementation of joint educational programs in the fields of biology and ecology, the exchange of teaching staff, basic doctoral students and masters, the implementation of collaborative research and grant projects.

Within the framework of the memorandum, among the first, the Department of Ecology and Botany and the Department of Biology of Ege University were the first to get acquainted with the activities of scientific and educational laboratories, to master the skills of using modern laboratory equipment, tools, and modern education in cooperation an agreement was reached on the preparation of manuals and textbooks, cooperation in the fields of scientific research, and the implementation of joint educational programs.

Founded in 1955 as a university of agriculture and medicine, Aegean University is named after the Aegean Sea, which is located between Turkey and Greece. The campus of Ege University , located in the Bornova region of Izmir , can literally be compared to a large "educational city". Kindergarten, secondary school, college, university, faculties, institutes, scientific centers, libraries, swimming and sports grounds, recreation centers, hospital and polyclinics operate within the campus.

Ege University ranks 23rd in the ranking of Turkish universities, 5th among Izmir universities, and 746th in the QS international ranking. It also operates as a member of the ERASMUS international program. Currently, Ege University has 14 faculties, 8 institutes, 6 colleges, 27 scientific research centers and 7 educational institutions preparing for higher education. About 3,000 highly qualified pedagogues are teaching more than 80,000 students.

Faculty of Science of the university includes departments of biology, mathematics, physics, chemistry, astronomy, and statistics. Currently, 5,700 students and 250 professors work at this faculty. All processes in the department are supervised by the head of the department and 2 assistant heads of the department. , are engaged in activities such as grant projects. The "Department of Work with Students" deals with the organization of educational processes, the schedule of classes, relations with students, and similar organizational educational work.

• The modern room, the natural history museum, the zoological museum, and scientific laboratories for conducting experiments on vertebrate animals play an incomparable role in the production of theoretical knowledge and the development of practical processes. In a word, all the help to provide quality education, training in modern methods and, most importantly, to prepare quality support.

• In short, initial steps have been taken to establish comprehensive relations between our department and Ege University. To this day, to carry out work related to the members of the department;

• Agreement between Ege University and Andijan State University on Biology (Ecological Biology): B-ÇDP: two-degree joint educational program was prepared and sent to higher level organizations. , the curriculum and science programs were developed within the framework of the joint education program.

• 1+1 master's degree joint education program in "Animal Ecology" and "Plant Biology" specialties was achieved. The curriculum and plans of joint education have been prepared.

• Two grant projects were prepared for the international scientific research competition in cooperation with the "Scientific Research Council" (TUBITAK) of Uzbekistan and Turkey in cooperation with the biologists of Ege University.

• The 1st international conference on the theme "Preservation of Eurasian biodiversity: modern problems, solutions and prospects" in the cooperation of Uzbekistan-Turkey-Azerbaijan state universities was decided to be held on May 15-17, 2023 at Andijan State University.

• Twice a month online lectures and laboratory training courses of Ege University professors were organized for young teachers, master doctoral students. To date, Ege professors Ismail Turkan, Erbu Gondju, Didam Aksu, Suna Timur and Edje Bayir have given lectures on scientific topics on the Zoom platform for the main doctoral students, masters and talented students of our department.

• 3 masters and 2 basic doctoral students of our department were assigned professors and teachers of Ege University as scientific supervisors by the order of the rector of ASU. Currently, researchers are continuing research in cooperation with scientific leaders.

• 202 professors, 2 professors, 3 masters of the department were on internship at Ege University and returned after improving their qualifications.

• In 2023, to carry out 6-month inspection internships of teachers, young scientists and masters of the department.
