CLUBS ACTIVITIES

Today, the departments of the Faculty of IT Engineering have organized the following specialized clubs: "Web Programming", "Fundamentals of Programming", "3D Modeling", "Computer Graphics" and "Using Office Programs". The clubs bring together more than 200 talented students, and the club members are engaged in scientific and creative activities in the relevant areas.

Nowadays, there are 2 departments operating at the faculty. These are: "Information Technologies" and "Computer Engineering".

DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The main scientific research topics of the department are “Development of modern information systems, intellectual management tools, data and knowledge bases, and software products for the widespread use of communication, informatization and telecommunication technologies in education” and additionally “Development of software products and algorithm complexes”, “Use of artificial intelligence models to predict cyberattacks”. The department also offers 8 bachelor's and 2 master's degree programs. The faculty consists of 19 professors, including 3 doctors of philosophy (PhD), associate professors, 3 candidates of science, associate professors, 7 senior teachers, and 6 teachers..

Nowadays, the department has 2 PhDs, 2 associate professors, 6 senior teachers, and 6 teachers on a full-time basis, as well as 8 teachers on a part-time basis. During the activity of the department, 8 textbooks and 9 study guides have been published by professors and teachers. In addition, certificates have been obtained for more than 30 computer programs and databases. The department has such clubs for students as "Computer Graphics", "Computer Literacy", "Network Technologies", and "Operating Systems". The department's professors and teachers are collecting funds for software products and services based on orders from various industries. Currently, the department cooperates with the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University of Russia and Kemerovo State University.
