SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY AND DOCTORAL STUDIES (PhD, DSc)
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH DIRECTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT
1. Actual problems of preserving biological diversity in the Fergana Valley
2. Introduction of promising plant species, study of anatomical and morphological adaptability.
3. Actual problems of ecology and environmental protection
Route 1. Actual problems of preservation of biological diversity in Ferghana Valley.
In this direction, professors-teachers of the department carry out scientific research in the form of grant projects, PhD and DSc theses, master's theses. This direction is mainly aimed at the development of measures for the protection of the flora, fauna and the problems of its preservation. To date, about 10 master's, 4 PhD, and 1 DSc dissertations have been prepared and defended in this direction.
Currently, 4 masters, 2 basic doctoral students and 1 doctoral student of the department are continuing their research in the direction of research on the current problems of preserving biological diversity in the Fergana Valley . To date, 2 practical and 1 fundamental projects have been completed in this direction.
Route 2. Introduction of promising plant species, study of anatomical and morphological adaptability.
In this direction, it is planned to carry out research on the introduction of useful and medicinal plants in Uzbekistan, including the Fergana Valley, their adaptability to soil and climate conditions, and physiological changes in them. Currently, in this direction, Euod i a bioecology of the species and the prospects of its use in greening", "Introduction of a new variety of Maymunjon plant in the Fergana Valley" is being researched.
Route 3. Actual problems of ecology and environmental protection.
This direction currently includes research on environmental protection in the Fergana Valley. Topics such as atmospheric air pollution, fresh water problems, macroplastic and microplastic pollution of water bodies, soil degradation, desertification and drought problems, which are among the most urgent problems of today, are the researches of this direction.
