Since January 2019, the Faculty of Preschool Education has been established. Currently, more than 500 students study in the direction of preschool education of the faculty, and 8 masters study in the magistracy of preschool education. The faculty includes 2 departments: the department of preschool pedagogy and the department of methods of preschool education.
In total, 18 professors and teachers work at the faculty. In particular, 2 doctors of sciences, 3 candidates of sciences, 4 senior teachers and 9 lecturers.
On the basis of the order of the rector of Andijan State University dated January 3, 2019 01-01, the department of methods of preschool education was established as part of the faculty of preschool education. Since January 3, 2019, the head of the Department of Methods of Preschool Education is Ph.D., Associate Professor Teshaboev A.Yu.
Educational and methodical work
Currently, the department has 7 professors-teachers, including 2 candidates of pedagogical sciences, associate professors, 1 doctor of philosophy (PhD), 1 senior lecturer, 4 teachers.
Currently, experienced teachers are conducting training sessions in the subjects of native language and children's literature, theory and methodology of the formation of mathematical concepts, mathematical training of children in preschool education, methods of teaching quantities and their measurement, methods of teaching special subjects, scientific foundations of preschool education, methodology preschool education. A master's program has been opened in the direction 5A111801 - Theory and methods of teaching (preschool education) and 8 masters are studying.
Scientific activity
The main topic of the research work of the department is "Actual issues of improving creative and innovative activities in the preparation of future educators", and an additional topic of research is "The mechanism for the systematic organization of educational and methodological support to improve the effectiveness of education in preschool institutions."
There are circles "Young mathematician" and "Young writer" at the department. In addition, the teachers of the department work with 14 talented students.
In order to increase the scientific potential of the department, a system map of the training of scientific personnel has been developed in order to train highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel, to enrich the department with young, potential specialists of a scientific level. In particular, under the guidance of Doctor of Philological Sciences Professor Sh.Yusupova, the teacher of the department T.Kaziyeva successfully defended her doctoral dissertation, and the senior teacher of the department M.Toirova, under the guidance of Ph.D. A.Yu. Teshaboev, to prepare for the defense of a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy (Phd).

DEPARTMENT OF METHODS OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION
Ensuring the organization of preschool education at the level of quality and modern requirements, which is the fundamental basis of the education system in the country, the decrees and resolutions adopted by President Sh. Mirziyoyev in this regard contribute to the further improvement of the system of preschool education, the expansion of the state and non-state network of school education and providing it with qualified teaching staff.
On the basis of the order of the rector of Andijan State University dated January 3, 2019 01-01, a department of methods of preschool education was created as part of the faculty of preschool education. Candidate of Pediatric Sciences, Associate Professor Teshaboev A.Yu. was appointed head of the department of methods of preschool education.
Currently, the department has 24 professors and teachers, including 5 candidates of pedagogical sciences, associate professors, 9 senior teachers, 10 teachers.
DEPARTMENT OF PRESCHOOL PEDAGOGY
Preschool education is an integral part of lifelong learning. It ensures the health and development of the child, stimulates the desire to learn and prepares him for systematic learning. The President of Uzbekistan, Sh. M. Mirziyoyev, pays special attention to the consistent continuation of reforms in this area, the development of a network of preschool educational institutions in accordance with modern requirements and standards, ensuring that our successors will no longer be inferior to anyone.
On the basis of the order of the rector of Andijan State University dated January 3, 2019 No. 01-01, the Faculty of Preschool Education was established, and it included the Department of Methods of Preschool Education, headed by Ph.D., Associate Professor M. Artikova. Currently, the department has 13 professors and teachers, including 4 doctors of science and 1 doctor of philosophy in pedagogy (Phd).
According to the Order of the Rector of Andijan State University dated January 3, 2019 No. 01-01 “On Making Changes to the Structure of the University”, the Department of Preschool Pedagogy was established as part of the Faculty of Preschool Education.
The composition of the department
The department has 16 professors and teachers, including 4 doctors of science, 2 doctors of philosophy (PhD) in pedagogy. Teachers of the department, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professors:Z. Azimova Z., Artikova M., V.Kodirov are members of the Specialized Scientific Council for the award of academic degrees.
At the Department of Preschool Pedagogy, specialists are trained in the following areas: 5111800 - Bachelor of Preschool Education, 5A111801 - Master's Degree in Theory and Methods of Teaching and Education (preschool education).
Scientific direction of the department
The department conducts scientific research in the following promising areas:
Topic of the main research work: “Innovative development of preschool education and system design of promising areas”;
Topic of additional research work: “Issues of the effective organization of the educational process in preschool education institutions”
Teachers of the department conduct research on topical issues of preschool education.
Activities of the scientific seminar of the department. A scientific seminar was organized at the department, led by Ph.D. M. Artikova.
