The Faculty of Pedagogy was organized on the basis of the order of the rector of Andijan State University No. 01-17 / 1 dated June 29, 2015. Currently, the dean of the faculty is Ph.D. M.U.Turaev. The faculty includes the work of departments in the following educational areas: "Pedagogy", "Methods of primary and preschool education", "Technological education", "Drawing and drawing", "Music education".

The faculty organized the departments "Methodology of primary education", "General technical disciplines and labor training", "Painting and drafting", "Music education".

Educational process

At present, the faculty is solving the problem of training competitive specialists who meet modern requirements in educational areas 5111700 - "Methods of primary and preschool education", 5112100 "Technological education". Also, the faculty has a master's program in the specialization 5A110901 - "Pedagogy". 

Club activities 

The faculty organized the work of such clubs as "Young mathematician", "Young teacher" and they are led by qualified professors and teachers of the departments. More than 100 gifted students are involved in the clubs and they are engaged in scientific and creative activities in educational areas. Research works of members of the faculty clubs are published in the university newspaper “Andijon yoshilari”, in the journal “ADU Ilmiy xabarnoma” and in other scientific collections. Among the members of the clubs there are candidates for nominal scholars and winners of various competitions.

Spiritual and educational work 

769 students study at the faculty in 29 academic groups. In each of these groups, spiritual and educational events, various evenings and competitions are regularly held. The team of the faculty actively participates in many spiritual and educational, scientific and practical events at the university, city, regional, republican level.

FACULTY DEPARTMENTS

DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL PEDAGOGY

The Department of General Pedagogy has a rich and glorious history. From the first days of the creation of the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute, special attention was paid to teaching pedagogical disciplines. Since 1930, an independent section of pedagogical disciplines began to work at the institute. 

During the war years, teachers of pedagogical disciplines worked at the Department of Natural History. The first teachers of the department were A.F. Ardashirov, N.D. Nikitin, V. Makaev and others. In 1942, 2 teachers worked at the department. In the 1944-1945 academic year, in connection with the expansion of the institute due to the opening of correspondence-preparatory departments, the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology was organized as an independent scientific, educational department. 

In those years, senior lecturer N.D. Nikitin was appointed head of the department. The teacher of the department was R.M. Kaziev. Since 1946, the department was headed by A.F. Ardashirov. Since this year, the department has united all teachers and pedagogical leaders on an individual basis. In that year, 15 teachers worked in the department. From 1946 to 1961, the department of pedagogy was headed by A.F. Ardashirov, R.M. Kaziev and M.V. Shchelkunov. In subsequent years, the department was headed by: candidates of pedagogical sciences, associate professors T.Nishonboev (1963-1969), (1974-1977), B.Vakhobjonov (1969-1974), M.Kamoldinov (1978-1993), professor T.Kh Khasanov ( 1987-1998), associate professors K. Turgunboev (1998-2000), (2002-2004), A. Teshaboev (2000-2002), (2005-2012), F. Yunusov (2004-2005), Z. Azimova (2012- 2014) M. Artikova (2014-2018). Since January 2019, the department was reorganized into the department of "General Pedagogy" and Ph.D. Associate Professor N. Abdullaeva. 

In 2017-2021, in the scientific and pedagogical plan, the Department of General Pedagogy achieved high results. 7 teachers of the department successfully defended their dissertations for the degree Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogical Sciences (PhD).

DEPARTMENT OF METHODS OF PRIMARY EDUCATION 

The Department of Methods of Primary Education was organized in 1960 on the basis of the Departments of Pedagogy, Psychology, Uzbek Linguistics, and Mathematics.

Initially, the department was called the department "Methods of teaching special disciplines" and the following teachers worked at the department: S.Vakhobov, A.Baratov, A.Khaidarov, O.Oripov, A.Arzimatov, K.Yunusov, R.Khoshimov, T.Ganiev, V. A. Lokhina, V. S. Zamchalina, K. Pulatov, N. Akhmedov. in 1992 the department was transformed into the department of Higher Mathematics.

A. Tolipov was appointed head of the Department of Higher Mathematics. Teachers of the department (Ph.D. I. Adishev, R. Khoshimov, Ph.D. A. Karimov, S Vakhobov, M. Muminov, senior teacher A. Ismonov , teacher H. Turdiev, G. Ismonova) conducted theoretical and practical classes in mathematics and methods of teaching mathematics at the faculty and the course of higher mathematics in other faculties. In 1996, Ph.D. And Adishev and from this year the department was renamed the Department of Mathematics and Methods of its Teaching. 

Since that academic year, the department of methods of teaching the native language was organized at the faculty. A. Arzimatov was appointed head of the department. 2001 Ph.D. K. Mamadaliev was appointed head of the Department of Mathematics and Methods of its Teaching. In 1999-2002, the department worked as part of the Faculty of Pedagogy. During this period, the department of the native language and methods of its teaching was headed by Ph.D. A. Arzimatov. In 2002-2005, the department of the native language and methods of its teaching was headed by Ph.D. Associate Professor A Zhurakhanov.

In September 2005, the departments of the native language and methods of teaching it and the methods of teaching mathematics merged and the Department of Methods of Primary Education was organized. K.B. Mamadaliev was appointed head of the department. By that time, 27 teachers worked at the department, including 1 professor, 3 associate professors, 4 candidates of sciences, 7 senior teachers and 10 assistants. 2007-2008 academic year, the department was headed by O. Tozhiev. From December 209-2010 academic year, B. Rakhmonov became the head of the department.

In 2007-2017, the department published 4 textbooks, 21 teaching aids, more than 160 scientific, methodological articles.

In 2015-2018, the Department of Primary Preschool Education was headed by Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor F. Kiyikboev.

From the 2018-2019 academic year, the department is headed by Ph.D. Associate Professor D.Nurmonova.

DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL TECHNICAL SCIENCES AND LABOR TRAINING

The department was founded in 1989 under the name "General technical subjects and labor". Associate Professor S. Ikromov was in charge of the department as acting director. the composition of the department was strengthened by associate professors A.B. Baratov, I.M. Sodikov, candidate of technical sciences A.A. Zarapov, senior teachers A. Zulunov, A. Abdullaev. 1990-1991 the department was headed by candidate of technical sciences, associate professor D. Mamatisakov.

Young teachers L. Olimov and N. Ortikov were invited to the department on a permanent basis. After the transfer of Associate Professor D.Mamatisakov to the position of Dean of the Faculty of Physics in 1991-1992, the Department was headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor I.M.Sodikov. In 1992-1997, the department was headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor A.A. Zarapov. During this period, positive changes took place in the scientific and pedagogical potential of the department, in particular, associate professors M.Khalilov and H.Akbarov began to work at the department. also during this period, teaching and laboratory classes were re-equipped and the teaching and methodological base of the department was noticeably enriched.

Relations with Uzbek and foreign higher educational institutions and research institutes were expanded. As a result of the optimization of the scientific potential of the university, the department was merged with the department of general physics and was headed by Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor U. Abdubokiev. In 1999, as a result of the growth of the contingent of students, the department was disbanded into the departments of "General Physics" and "General Technical Subjects". The head of the department was appointed candidate of physical and mathematical sciences Kh. Akhunov. In 2000-2002, the department was headed by Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences L.Olimov. On his initiative, research work on semiconductor materials was developed at the department.

From 2002 to 2015, Associate Professor A.A. Zarapov worked as the head of the department. Since June 2005, the department has been named the Department of Labor Education. One of the leading scientists of the country on the technology of composite materials, Professor A.B. Dzhumaboev, was invited to the department. Since September 2015, the duties of the head of the department have been performed by the candidate of technical sciences M.U. Turaev. Currently, professor A.B. Dzhumaboev, associate professors Sh.Kh. employees R. Tuychiev, M. Kambarova F. Botirova and others.

A branch of the scientific and technological complex "Science and Progress" of the Tashkent Technical University was opened at the department. In it, 4 teachers of the department defended their dissertations. In 2015-2019, the department was headed by Associate Professor M.U. Turaev, and in 2019-2020 Associate Professor Kh.Zh. Mansurov. Currently, the department is headed by senior lecturer S.Yu. Toshpulatov.
