At present, out of 1543 employees working at Andijan State University, 707 (386 professors-teachers, 321 employees), i.е. 45.7% are women.

A lot of work is being done at the university to increase the socio-political activity of women, expand their participation in management, and ensure equal rights and opportunities for them. To date, the proportion of women in leadership positions at the university has increased to 24 people.

2 of our women lead the positions of deans, 12 department heads, 9 department heads and 1 chairperson of the specialized council.

Of the 14,922 students studying at the university, 9,256 are girls, of which 2,932 are married.

The Advisory Council for Women's Affairs of Andijan State University was established in accordance with Decree No. 326 of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 17, 2020 "On the establishment of Advisory Councils for Women's Affairs", Order No. 03-69 of the Rector of Andijan State University dated June 25 2020 and the decision of the Assembly of July 4, 2020, and operates on the basis of the “Model Regulations on the Council for Women”.

The Council for Women's Affairs conducts spiritual and educational, explanatory work to increase the socio-political activity of women, protect their interests, and improve the entrepreneurial and professional skills of women. Particular attention is paid to low- income women and those in need of social protection, reproductive health, preparing students for family life, and strengthening family relations based on our traditional values.

In particular, in 2021, on the occasion of January 14 - Defender of the Fatherland Day, holiday cards and napkins prepared by the Women's Council were distributed to male teachers, workers and agricultural workers working at the university. 

On the day of the main regional event, under the leadership of the Chairman of the Women's Council U. Akhmedova, members of the ASU club "Kizlarzhon" distributed holiday cards to the participants of the event, veterans and soldiers. 

In order to study the lifestyle, conditions and problems of students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, as well as to conduct spiritual, moral and educational work with them, on January 15, 2021, the Chairwoman of the ASU Women's Council U. Akhmedova and the Chairperson of the Committee of the Faculty of Foreign Languages D. Zokirova organized another visit to the hostel students number 4 of Andijan State University. 

In order to stabilize a healthy lifestyle and prevent attraction to bad habits among female students, on February 16, 2021, the Advisory Council for Women of Andijan State University organized a round table on the topic “We are for a healthy lifestyle!” in the hostel of students No. 5. It was attended by the doctor of the Andijan regional branch of the Institute of Health and Medical Statistics of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan M. Artikov, senior lecturer of the Department of Human Physiology and Life Safety R. Aliyeva, Chairman of the Women's Council of the University U. Akhmedova, Chairman of the Women's Committee of the Faculty of Foreign Languages D. Zokirova, nurse M. Khonbotaeva, educator-teacher D. Kamolova, teachers and students on duty living in student hostel No. 5. 

As part of the Andijan regional stage of the republican festival "Nafosat-2021", on February 4, 2021, a round table was organized at Andijan State University. It was attended by the chief adviser of the Committee on Women Affairs and Gender Equality of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nodirakhan Shotursunova, the specialist of the Ministry of Mahalla and Family Support Tolinoy Kadyrova, the head of the special Islamic educational institution for women "Khadichai Kubro" Nozima Ibragimova, the head of the department for the introduction of new design works of "Uztekstilprom" Kamola Gulyamova and the first deputy head of the Mahalla and Family Support Department for the Andijan region Shahlo Solieva, as well as active and enterprising university students aged 18 to 35 years.

First, the guests visited the exhibition of national clothes and handicraft samples, visited the gallery of fine art works of students of the Department of Fine Arts and Engineering Graphics, and had a sincere conversation with the artists. Wonderful songs performed by the students of the direction of musical education of ASU gave the guests high spirits.

The main event of the festival began in the assembly hall of the university. On this day, in order to study the opinion of the youth of the republic on the culture of dressing, the republican center "Public Opinion" conducted an anonymous survey.

After that, a sincere and open conversation between the guests and the students took place. 

On February 5, 2021, at the Nafosat festival, held in the Shakhrikhan district, students of Andijan State University presented fashion trends imbued with Uzbek national values, as well as modern national costumes. 

On February 6, 2021, Chief Advisor to the Committee on Women’s Affairs and Gender Equality of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nodirakhan Shotursunova, Head of the Department for the Introduction of New Design Works at Uztekstilprom Kamola Gulyamova, Head of the Special Islamic Educational Institution for Women Khadichai Kubro Nozima Ibragimova, Specialist Ministry to support the mahalla and the family of Tolina Kadyrov, as well as 10 talented, creative and media-oriented students, took part in a press conference headed by U. Akhmedova, chairperson of the University Women's Council. 

On January 22, 2021, under the leadership of the chairman of the women's committee of the socio-economic faculty, Shohsanam Usmanova, a chess competition was held among the students of the socio-economic faculty. 

On February 9, 2021, at the initiative of the chairman of the socio-economic faculty, Shohsanam Usmanova, a poetry evening dedicated to the birthday of Alisher Navoi was held among the students of the socio-economic faculty living in student hostel No. 2. 

On February 15, 2021, 1st year students of preschool education led by Shakhnozakhan Mirzaakhmedova, chairman of the women's committee of the preschool pedagogical faculty of Andijan State University, organized an art and music event dedicated to the birthday of the great figure Hazrat Mir Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. During the event, students performed ghazals and rubais, stage performances were shown. Uzbek national dances were performed. Pupils of the non-governmental organization of preschool education "Zukko Bolaijon", opened at the faculty, also took part in the event with their speeches. 

On January 26, 2021, the same faculty, under the leadership of the dean of the faculty Azimova Z., held an open dialogue on the manners, behavior, speech, and clothes of girls in the specialty of preschool education. It was attended by female students living in student hostel No. 3. 

At the initiative of the Women's Council of Andijan State University to educate a generation of perfect, intelligent women, to encourage their peers to strengthen faith in the ideas of national independence and cultural and spiritual values, to encourage their active participation in accelerating large-scale reforms, on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8, a "Girl's Online -quiz". 

The winners of the quiz were 4 students who took part in the "Online Quiz for Girls" and scored the most points:

• Jamoldinova Odinakhan - student of the Faculty of Philology

• Kasimova Ziyodahan - student of the correspondence department

• Abdullayeva Zikriniso - student of the Faculty of Information Technology

• Makhsum Adiljonova - student of the Faculty of Arts.

The winners were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts from the administration of the university. 

Conducted active explanatory work about the Zulfiya State Prize, established for excellent behavior, unique talent, intelligence, initiative, academic success and special achievements in the field of education, science, literature, art, sports and social activities, and talented, creative students who guide girls in the right direction, as a result of the organization of targeted works, Gulkhaye Rajieva, a student of the Faculty of Arts in 2021, was recognized as worthy of the State Prize named after Zulfiya in the field of art. 

On the occasion of March 8 - International Women's Day, the Women's Council of Andijan State University announced 5 important initiatives: "Increasing the interest of young people in music, painting, literature, theater and other forms of art, revealing their talent." “Educating the Spirituality of Youth” dated March 3, 2021, No. 2 and No. 5, aimed at widely promoting reading among them, comprehensive preparation of students and girls living in hostels for independent family life, meaningful organization of their free time; 4th and 6th - March 4; On March 5, a competition "Girls of the middle level" was held among female students living in dormitories No. 1 and 3. During the competition, the girls competed in cooking, everyday knowledge and skills, reading fiction, their interests and creative abilities. At the end of the auditions, which were held in a very cheerful and festive atmosphere, all 28 participating girls were awarded letters of thanks from the university management and memorable gifts from the trade union committee of employees and students. 

On March 17, 2021, the khakim of Andijan region Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov visited student dormitory No. 2 of Andijan State University to hear students' requests and got acquainted with the conditions created for them. Conducting a dialogue with students, he listened to their requests and suggestions in order to meaningfully organize their free time, create favorable conditions for them to study reading, culture and art. The governor of the region spoke about the work planned in connection with this and expressed his opinion. The most productive part of open communication was that 2nd creative and low-income students of pedagogy and psychology, 1st year student Khozhimatova Durdona and 1st year student of applied psychology Shamsiddinova Komila Sh. Abdurakhmonov were presented with laptops; 2 students in need of social protection, Akbarzhonova Mokhlaroy and Tokhtasinova Dilnoza were sponsored and were responsible for the payment of annual contract money for their studies. 

On March 12, 2021, at the initiative of Z. Kosimova, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of History, the head of the faculty club "Kizlarjon", in the student dormitory No. 2, in order to promote a healthy lifestyle among students and attract them to sports, a fitness club began its work, and today the number of members of the club is more than 60 people. 

On March 24, 2021, in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Arts, the chairman of the women's council of the faculty, Ziyodakhon Khadzhaeva, held a competition "Girlish manners" among students studying at the faculty, in order to meaningfully spend students' free time, to demonstrate their professional talents and creative abilities. The students of the faculty Khaidaralieva Maftuna, Bokieva Durdona, Ganieva Sarvinoz, Toychieva Madina, Mamadalieva Rozihon, Israilova Zulaikho took part in the competition. Ganieva Sarvinoz, 1st year student of musical education, was recognized as the winner of the 4 conditions competition. All participants were awarded a certificate of appreciation from the rector of the university and memorable gifts. 

On April 1, 2020, at the initiative of the chairman of the women's council of the pedagogical faculty of Andijan State University, Gulnozakhon Teshaboeva, among the 1st year students of primary and technological education studying at the faculty, on the topic "Girls' Manners", the manners of behavior, clothes and speech of girls were discussed. A round table dedicated to the proper use of the Internet and social networks was held. At the round table, the chairman of the Women's Council of the University Umidakhan Akhmedova, the chairman of the council of mentors of the faculty Rano Yankina, the head of the department of pedagogy Nasibakhan Abdullayeva, the head of the department of general technical sciences and labor education Sobirakhan Toshpolatova, associate professor Arofatkhan Negmatova, women professors and teachers working at the faculty and about 200 students . 

On April 2, 2020, the Council of Women and Girls of Andijan State University organized a demonstration of national costumes in order to protect students from the influence of other people's ideas, educate them in the spirit of loyalty to national and universal values and traditions, and widely promote national costumes among them. More than 100 students of the faculties of physical culture, art history, philology and the physics and mathematics faculty of the university took part in it. 

Through the efforts of Durdona Kurbanova, a member of the women's council of the university, a laureate of the Zulfiya State Prize, a teacher at the interfaculty department of physical culture and sports, in order to physically improve female students and involve them in mass sports, a student living in student dormitories No. 1 and 2 - classes "Morning gymnastics" are held for girls every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 07:00 to 07:30. About 100 students of the faculties of physical culture, philology, and the faculty of physics and mathematics were included in the training. 

On April 15, 2020, an open dialogue took place between the 2nd year students of the sports school of the Faculty of Physical Education on the topic "Girlish manners", dedicated to the behavior of girls, clothing, speech etiquette and culture, and the correct use of the Internet and social networks. The chairman of the Women's Council of the University Umidakhan Akhmedova, women professors and teachers working at the faculty took part in it with their opinion. 

In order to support the desire of young people to master modern professions and create conditions for them to realize their creative and intellectual potential, which is determined by the state policy on youth pursued by our country, on the initiative of the chairman of the committee on women's affairs of Andijan State University U. Akhmedova, an educational excursion was organized to plant "UzAvtoMotors" for 2nd year students of the direction "Technological education" of a joint educational program with Polotsk State University. 

On the eve of the presidential elections, the Women's Council of Andijan State University held a round table among students living in student hostel No. 2, aimed at increasing their legal culture and social and political activity, improving legal knowledge.

The 45th polling station in Andijan, located at Andijan State University, was invited to a round table in order to ensure the effective implementation of the state policy to support women, protect their rights and legitimate interests, increase their role and activity in the public and political life of the country. The head of the polling station, Khabibullo Khusanov, told the students about the importance of their active participation and voting in the electoral process, which is important in determining the future of the Motherland and the path of development in the future, paying special attention to constantly improving their position in society, strengthening their knowledge of electoral law. 

On October 6, 2021, the Women's Council of the University held a round table on creating a healthy spiritual and educational environment among students, preparing them for family life, mutual respect, dressing, culture of communication and behavior, rules of etiquette, in the large assembly hall of Andijan State University.

The adviser of the khakim of the region on women's affairs, the first deputy head of the department for supporting the microdistrict and family Nizomova Mavlyuda Sheralievna, the head of the department Shoirakhan Kosimova, the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for women's affairs spoke at the round table. questions were attended by Gulnorakhon Abduvakhidova, deputy head of the regional health department Bobozhonova Gulmirakhon and students. Among the speakers were the topics “The role of girls’ education in ensuring family stability”, “Girls’ clothes, culture of communication and behavior”, “State policy in the field of protection of the rights of mother and child, rights, duties, obligations of girls”, “Girls “Health as the main factor family stability” exchanged views with students.

The students received answers to their questions, and the experts gave the students the necessary recommendations and suggestions.

At the end of the discussion, a performance was shown with the participation of teachers and students of the Faculty of Arts, aimed at the study and education of girls. 

October 11 - "International Day of the Girl" Talent", October 8, 2021, in order to "Raise the spirituality of young people, popularize reading among them" and organize meaningful extracurricular activities for students, October 8, 2021. An artistic and musical entertainment holiday program prepared by activists of the «Kizlarzhon club» was presented. 

The slogan "We are against violence" among students and youth studying at the university in connection with the creation of the company "16 days against violence" from November 25 to December 10, 2021 in the cooperation work plan signed between the Commission on Gender Equality of the Republic of Uzbekistan and representative offices of international organizations in Uzbekistan announced a selection of videos. According to the results of the competition and according to the conclusion of experts, 3 students who were recognized as winners were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts by the university administration. 

On November 19, 2021, student hostel No. 1, hostel No. 2 - November 22-23, hostel No. 3 - November 24, hostel No. 3 - November 25, 4 and 5 round tables with students living on each floor of the hostel on how to safely spend the winter season, follow the rules of technical and fire safety, beware of botulism and carbon dioxide. Local specialists gave the necessary recommendations and instructions for students, handed out leaflets. 

On December 6, 2021, in the spiritual and educational room of the student dormitory No. 2, the chairman of the women's council of the university U. Akhmedova and vice- rector for information technology Makhkamov M. held a round table aimed at ensuring the information security of students living in dormitories.

The speakers of the event spoke about the information directed against the spirituality of a person in the modern processes of globalization, protecting our youth from their negative consequences.

During the round table, the most important tasks aimed at ensuring information security were discussed, within which the formation of a culture of obtaining information from our students, in particular, compliance with cultural and ethical standards when using the Internet, strengthening ideological immunity, in particular, placement, distribution, search information on the Internet, it was noted that further improvement of information security and Internet culture is necessary, including such features as use, and related legal and organizational recommendations in this regard.

Summing up the lectures given at the round table, they noted that not to be indifferent to what is happening around them, to have their own independent worldview and position, to always be in the know, and most importantly, to fight ignorance with the help of education is the main task facing to today's modern generation.

Students received detailed answers to all their questions from experts. 

In order to create a healthy moral environment among students studying at the university, to regulate their compliance with the internal regulations and culture of clothing, since September 2021, permanent working groups have been formed at each faculty to conduct individual explanatory work on the culture of students' clothing. The working groups involved professors and lecturers who enjoy a reputation and attention in society. Members of the working group conduct individual conversations with students who observe unusual situations in their clothes and appearance outside of class.

Organized systematic work with partner organizations on the basis of the annual work plan. During the reporting period, the regional department for the support of neighborhood and family (7 times), health (3), internal affairs (5), city and district councils, political parties (6), Together with the regional branch of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan (3), Representative office of OMI of Andijan region (3), spiritual and educational activities, meeting, round discussion and in-depth medical exams were organized.

Leading specialist on women's and girls' affairs of the secretariat for work with religious and public organizations of the provincial government I. Akhmedova, adviser on women's issues of the Andijan regional office of OMI Sh. Kosimova, specialists of the Department for Combating Terrorism of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs K. Yusupova D. Abdullayeva. Together with members of the regional mobile group, during October-November 2021, individual explanatory work and interviews were conducted at all faculties (17 times in total) on the topic of dressing culture for women and men.

The Republican Association "Craftsman", together with the administration of the Andijan region, to support women in socially difficult situations and according to the "Program for the Development of Handicrafts" 2 women in need of social protection and having a profession, the association will provide a sewing machine, more than a hundred managed to provide the Andijan regional branch International Non- Governmental Charitable Foundation "For a Healthy Generation" to low-income women and young mothers who have disabilities, have chronic diseases, and need treatment.

By the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 17, 2021 No. 585 “On measures to provide material support for higher education for low-income girls who have lost their parents or one of them, and single women who do not have a breadwinner”, documents of 121 students who are considered low-income girls and single women without a breadwinner.

Members of the working group of the university, together with senior officials of public gatherings of the microdistrict in which they live, studied the living conditions of applicants, and a document was drawn up.

As a result of the study, taking into account the fact that the criteria specified in the Regulations were recognized as a low-income family with a difficult family situation, documents of 72 students who lost their parents or one of them and single women were submitted to the regional commission for the material support of higher education for low-income girls without a breadwinner, was drawn up and 35 of them were appointed for the 2021-2022 academic year by application No. 09/13-117 dated 10/21/2021.
