The book is the cultural and spiritual heritage of humanity. Once Feodor Dostoyevskiy said:” Study and learn. Read serious books, life will give the rest of them”. Indeed, there are many books that should be read. But we can’t make people read a book, person should always read books in order to think freely and get the best feelings into his or her heart.

In our country, special attention is being paid to increase the culture of reading books, developing their intellectual potential, provide them with artistic, educational, scientific-commercial literatures, increase the spirit of reading books of the youth.

Recently, the stage of sorting of the competition “Smart Reader”, which has already become real tradition among our youth, has taken place among faculties in our university with the cooperation of the primary organization of the Youth union. Intelligent readers, who have been selected among faculties, competed hard in order to take the first place. All students tried to show their knowledge in competition that lasted for 4 hours with interesting and uncompromising moments.

According to final results, the third place went to team of Physics-Mathematics faculty, the second place went to the team of Foreign languages faculty and the faculty of Philology got the honored first place. The members of winner teams were awarded with diploma and memorable gifts. The students of the faculties of Natural sciences and Pre-school education participated actively in this competition and show their knowledge, too.

As well as, the student of the Pre-school education faculty Tukhtasinova Farida and the student of the faculty of natural sciences Akbarov Husanboy were admitted by judges and participants, they were awarded with memorable gifts and honorary titles.

Certainly, these competitions test the knowledge of young people and increase their love for the book.
