From August 1 to 11 of this year, the Asian Boxing Championship among boxers under 22 and youth (U-19) was held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.

In this prestigious competition, students of the Faculty of Sports and Arts of Andijan State University - Muhammadaziz Ismailov (70 kg) confidently defeated the representative of Kazakhstan Nurbek Mursal in the final with a score of 4:1, Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov (85 kg) - Sam Estakini of Iran with a score of 5:0, and Halimjon Mamasoliyev (90 kg) - the representative of India Ishan Kataria with a score of 5:0, and won gold medals.
