A new educational building with 1,800 seats with modern architecture, built within the framework of a project worth 45 billion 444 million soums at the expense of extra-budgetary funds of Andijan State University, has been completed.

Today, February 18, the ceremonial opening of the new educational building of Andijan State University was held with the participation of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kungirotboy Sharipov and the Governor of Andijan Region Shuhratbek Abdurakhmonov.

Speaking at the solemn event, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kungirotboy Sharipov and the Governor of Andijan Region Shuhratbek Abdurakhmonov noted that the opening of the new educational building will serve to raise the regional education system to a new level. It was noted that this building is one of the important steps towards further improving not only Andijan State University, but also the regional education system, providing high-quality education to students, implementing innovative ideas in practice, and training qualified specialists with higher education.

After the opening ceremony, the visiting guests got acquainted with the capabilities of the new educational building and noted that the lecture halls and science laboratories, equipped with all the necessary equipment for scientific and practical classes, will play an important role in further expanding the opportunities for students not only to obtain knowledge, but also to implement innovative ideas, achieving new heights in the field of science and education at the university, and increasing the effectiveness of young people in acquiring knowledge.

The newly constructed 7-story, modern academic building with a capacity of 1,800 seats has 15 spacious and comfortable lecture halls, 24 high-quality laboratories, 17 classrooms, as well as 11 computer labs equipped with the latest information and communication technologies.
