The invaluable creative and scientific heritage of the great poet and thinker, outstanding statesman and public figure Alisher Navoi occupies a special place not only in the history of our people, but also in the history of world literature, in the development of national culture and literary and aesthetic thinking.

Today, February 8, a festive event was held at Andijan State University under the motto "Alisher Navoi and the 21st Century" in connection with the 584nd anniversary of the birth of the great thinker, writer and sultan of the word Alisher Navoi.

The event was opened by the Deputy Hokim of the region, Komiljon Sobirovich. In his speech, he emphasized the enormous contribution of Alisher Navoi to the sphere of literature and science, as well as the great significance of his worldview and spiritual heritage for today's generation.

The performance of the dialogue between Alisher Navoi and Husayn Bayqara, performed by the artists of the Regional Musical Drama Theater, enhanced the artistic aspect of the event and left a deep impression on the audience of the historical and cultural heritage. After that, the unique melodies and songs of the maqom ensemble, as well as the performance of samples of Navoi's works, enriched the cultural event and were presented to the audience.

During the event, the speakers highly appreciated the invaluable contribution of our great ancestor Navoi not only to the development of literature, but also to the development of national culture, music, and art, emphasizing his rich literary heritage and influence on the spirituality of our people. They also analyzed in detail the humanistic, moral principles, and educational values reflected in Navoi's works, noting that these beautiful ideas have not lost their relevance even today.
