A festive event was held at Andijan State University with great festivities on the occasion of the 584th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker, the sultan of the word, Alisher Navoi.

At the beginning of the event, Professor of the Faculty of Philology, Doctor of Philological Sciences Abdulkhai Sobirov spoke about the rich and unique legacy of the thinker, as well as his role in our lives today, emphasizing the educational significance of Navoi's works and the need to convey this great legacy to the new generation.

In the artistic part of the celebration, masterpieces of ghazals from Navoi's legacy, a bouquet of songs sung based on the most beautiful lines of his work were performed, and a stage performance reflecting Navoi's life was presented to the participants of the event.

At the end of the event, the organizers, who actively participated, as well as the members of the "Lingva" team, which took pride of place in the international competition, and their mentor Muhabbatkhon Mullajonova, were awarded certificates of appreciation and souvenirs by the university administration.
