Today, February 4, the first Uzbekistan-Malaysia Education Forum is being held in the Malaysian state of Perak on the topic "Opportunities and Initiatives in Higher Education in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals" in order to open up new prospects in the field of education, strengthen cooperation between the two countries, and integrate them into the global education system.

Within the framework of the international forum, the rector of Andijan State University Bakhtiyorjon Bakirovich noted the expansion of cooperation in the field of science with the heads of leading Malaysian higher education institutions such as Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) and Terengganu University Malaysia (UMT). Negotiations were held between them on the further development of scientific relations, expansion of mutual exchange of experience, and other relevant areas. As a result, a bilateral memorandum was signed to strengthen cooperation in the field of higher education and science in order to take cooperation in the field of education to a new level and implement mutually beneficial projects and programs.

These signed agreements will create opportunities to take cooperation in the field of education to a new level and implement mutually beneficial projects and programs, strengthen ties in the scientific and educational spheres, teach modern educational methods, and acquire globally competitive personnel.

On the second day of the visit, the university rector plans to hold meetings and sign cooperation agreements with the rectors of the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) and UCSI University in order to strengthen international cooperation, exchange new ideas in the field of science, and establish new scientific partnerships in the coming years.
