Currently, the rector of Andijan State University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Bakhtiyorjon Akbaraliyev is participating in the Forum of Rectors of Central Asian Universities dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region and the Institute of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, which is being held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, on the topic "Transformation of Central Asian Universities in the Context of Global Challenges".

The purpose of this international forum, which is attended by heads of more than 100 leading higher education institutions of Central Asia, is to discuss current issues related to international cooperation in the field of science and education in the region, exchange views on strategic issues of transforming higher education, sign inter-university cooperation agreements, and strengthen constructive ties between higher education institutions of neighboring countries.

The rector of Andijan State University, who was invited as a guest of honor, participated in this forum with a report on "Opportunities and Challenges for Universities of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the Context of Globalization" and met with the rectors of higher education institutions from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan as part of his visit.
