According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, № PF-87 dated March 07, 2022 "On measures to further accelerate work on systematic support of families and women" and Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, № 402 dated June 23, 2020, according to the Decree "On approving the regulation on the procedure for giving recommendations to women from needy families to participate in the competition and organizing their admission to higher education institutions within the parameters of admission based on the additional state grant" are accepted on the basis of the following criteria:
-
women from low-income families. In this case, a low-income family is defined as a family with a monthly average total income of no more than 0.527 times of the minimum wage for each member of the family during the period when the total income is determined;
-
girls in need of social protection who are brought up in single-parent families, that is, their father or mother or both of them have died;
-
women in need of social protection whose spouse has died and who are raising their minor child alone;
-
women in needy families having disabled children;
-
daughters of single women in need of social protection who are raising two or more children, living separately (on rent) from other relatives;
-
women in needy families with one or both of their parents having disabilities of the first or second group.
