A total of 21,121 students (including 13,632 girls) study at Andijan State University in the form of full-time education. Andijan State University has 9 faculties, 30 departments, and 44 fields of study. Of these, 3 specialized departments operate in the Faculty of Physical Culture.

“ASU” sports club was established under Andijan State University and registered on the basis of certificate No. 325B of the Ministry of Justice. 4304 students are members of “ASU” sports club.”ASU” sports club has been running regular sports clubs in basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, table tennis, chess-checkers, athletics, gymnastics, athletics, and wrestling. A total of 1624 students are participating in the clubs. Basketball sports section, volleyball sports section, football sports section were established. The team of Andijan State University in basketball and volleyball sports participates in the Higher Leagues under the name “ASU”.

He has been participating in the 2nd league of the Uzbekistan Championship in the field of football. In 2022, he took first place in the “Student’s Cup” competition organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Football Association of Uzbekistan, and the professional football league of Uzbekistan among students of higher education institutions in the field of mini-football.

Currently, the indoor sports facility of the Andijan State University has been fully booked by the Education Quality Control Inspectorate for the use of teachers for testing from October 20 to November 25. This has an impact on the quality of students’ training and meaningful organization of their free time.

A certain time has been set for the use of the existing sports facilities in the university by students in their free time. According to it, between 16:00 and 18:00, a general break and cleaning work will be carried out. The indoor mini-football field will be closed from 2000 as it is close to a residential area.
