An online competition and seminar was organized at Andijan State University on October 21 in connection with the "Day of the Uzbek Language".

The competition was held in the categories of the best video, best audio essay, and the best expressive poetry recitation praising the Uzbek language.

The conditions for the two categories of the competition were organized and assessed online. The third category was organized at the university based on quarantine regulations. Noted specialists were invited to assess the students' poetry recitations: the head of the Department of Linguistics, Tojiyev Olimjon; the senior teacher of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature, Begali Mo'minov; and associate professor Usmonjon Rahimov.

The jury listened to the students and selected those deserving of victory. They were awarded 1,000,000 som for 1st place, 800,000 som for 2nd place, and 700,000 som for 3rd place.
