Form of distance learning at Andijan State University

Distance education is a process of acquiring knowledge and skills that ensures the exchange of educational information and implements the educational process and management system using information technology.

Starting from the 2022-2023 academic year, the university decided to admit 150 students under the distance learning quota in the direction of “Information Engineering: Computer Engineering and Computer Engineering: IT Service Courses at the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Engineering” and now together Taking into account the students accepted for training on the basis of a super contract, the total distance learning contingent exceeded 180 people.

At the moment, students' living quarters have been studied. Work is underway to connect distance learning students of Andijan State University to the information and communication infrastructure of higher educational institutions, information resource centers and training centers located in the relevant areas. In addition, they are connected and use the ATKI literary bot created at the faculty.

The mt.adu.uz platform contains educational content on educational processes, a bank of test questions and a bank of topics for self-study. A login and password have been created for all students. On the platform, based on the course curriculum, courses are organized in subjects that are conducted in a semester. In particular, Computer Engineering: IT Service and Computer Engineering: for students studying in the field of Computer Engineering, there are only 9 subjects in the 1st year, i.e. Accounting, Modern technical means and their use, Computer organization, Programming, Physics and Philosophy. It is expected to teach a foreign language, Uzbek (Russian) language, and the modern history of Uzbekistan.

Online trainings are conducted through the Discord system. A virtual server “ADU ATKI AT” has been created on the Discord platform and you can connect to it via the link https://discord.gg/2p6bqYXyzW. The server has 4 lecture, 4 practical and 4 experimental halls. The halls have lesson schedules, subject assignments, and question and answer channels. In addition, classes are conducted using the ZOOM and Google Meet platforms.

To communicate with students and answer questions, a telegram group has been created, designed to establish direct and feedback, including sending and receiving messages.

A student base is formed on the Hemis platform, and classes are conducted according to the lesson schedule.

During the month, open classes were held for students living in nearby areas who expressed a desire to participate in offline classes.
