Under the direction of tutors in each faculty, artistic and athletic organizations as well as creative groups were established to provide students with worthwhile things to do in their spare time. These groups drew students who were interested in theater, music, painting, literature, and the arts. "Young Artists," "Singing and Dancing," and a variety of sports clubs including "football," "basketball," "handball," "wrestling," "chess," "volleyball," "table tennis," and others are among them. Approximately 4,500 students were involved in these clubs during the school year.

The university has 26 clubs with about 6,000 members, where regular competitions, "Rector's Cup" tournaments, festivals, and projects are organized. 64.9% of university students are female, and organizations for cooking, sewing, weaving, and national handicrafts are set up for those living in dorms and rental homes to make sure they make the most of their leisure time. At student fairs and exhibitions, creative items created by female students residing in dorms are frequently on show.

For example, in observance of "Defender of the Fatherland Day," students in sports clubs competed in arm wrestling and chess/checkers on January 9–10, 2023. The rector of the university presented diplomas and mementos to the winners. University students participated in a qualifying round of the "Universiade-2022" badminton tournament on February 21–22, with the victorious teams receiving pricey prizes.

The "Rector's Cup" sporting event took place on February 23. Sports clubs participated in volleyball, athletics, and mini-football competitions as part of five major projects, and the victors received appropriate prizes. Sports clubs competed in a streetball competition called the "Rector's Cup" on February 24.

In celebration of "International Women's Day," female students competed against instructors in table tennis and volleyball on March 3 for the ADU Women's Committee prize. At Andijan State University's summer "Arena," a mini-football competition was organized on March 10; all of the university's sports clubs participated enthusiastically.

In honor of the national holiday of "Navruz," a student festival was organized on March 15 and included inter-faculty events in traditional sports, rope pulling, tug-of-war, and chess/checkers.

Students competed in football and basketball on April 18 in order to give the residents of the dormitories something worthwhile to do. Andijan State University students placed highly in the U-23 Uzbekistan Championship volleyball competition for men and women at Urgench, Khorezm area, on April 28 and May 3.

Winning teams received pricey prizes in the qualifying round of the university student badminton championship, "Universiade-2022," which took place on February 21–22. On May 10–11, inter-faculty tournaments in chess, table tennis, mini-football, and volleyball were held in observance of May 9 as "Remembrance and Honor Day." Valuable awards were awarded to the winners.
