Set of future plans, developments and upgrades made at Andijan State University following the Uzbekistan Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan On the Utilization of Renewable Energy Sources dated 21.05.2019 No. ZRU-539, which sets targets to improve energy efficiency by 20% by 2026 and aims for a 1.5-fold increase by 2030. University goals to achieve energy efficiency follows:

1. Shifting from carbon-intensive energy into renewable, clean energy sources.

2. Upgrade existing buildings to higher energy efficiency.

3. Follow the energy efficiency standard rules in new building constructions.

4. Reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

5. Follow the legality, accountability, openness and transparency in energy use.

In 2023 alone several action made to achieve our goals. Such as, solar panels were installed, existing building lamps upgraded into new energy efficient sensor LED lamps, existing engines at central heating room upgraded into low energy consuming ones.
