At the request of the female employee, Andijan State University grants paternal leave following the conclusion of maternity leave. The benefit is paid until the kid becomes two years old.

Employees may work part-time during parental leave or at home as negotiated with the university administration; additionally, the father, grandparents, or other family members who really care for the kid may use parental leave in whole or in part. Their pension rights are upheld in this instance.

During parental leave, the woman's place of employment is maintained. Together with the length of service in the specialty, these vacations are added to the total length of service, which cannot exceed three years.

Unless it is stipulated in a collective agreement, the duration of service that grants the right to following paid yearly leave does not include the parental leave period.
