Following the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan Andijan State University has maternity policy that support women’s participation during their studies.

Article 42

“It shall be prohibited to refuse to hire women, dismiss them from work and reduce their

wages on the basis of pregnancy or having a child.”

Article 50.

“Everyone shall have the right to education.”

Article 78.

“Motherhood, fatherhood and childhood shall be protected by the state.”

According to Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Approval of the Regulation on the Procedure for Appointment and Payment of Benefits for State Social Insurance" woman employees are entitled to 70 days of paid leave before childbirth and 56 days afterward (70 seventy calendar days in case of difficult childbirth or the birth of two or more children), and state social insurance benefits.
