Today, October 21, the “Smart Reader” competition was held at Andijan State University as part of “Student Week” to promote reading culture among student youth and increase their interest in fiction.

A total of 6 teams from the faculties participated in the competition and tested their knowledge and thinking through questions based on selected literary works.

According to the final results, the winners were determined as follows:

1️V place - the team of the Faculty of Law and Economics;
2️V place - the team of the Faculty of Philology;
3️V place was taken by the team of the Faculty of History and Social Sciences.

Within the framework of the event, employees of the University's Information Resource Center organized a rich book exhibition under the motto “Language is the pride of the nation, the foundation of the nation's prosperity,” dedicated to the 36th anniversary of granting the Uzbek language the status of the state language.
