Today, October 21, a spiritual and educational event was held at Andijan State University under the motto "Language is the Mirror of the Nation" in connection with the 36th anniversary of granting the Uzbek language the status of the state language.
The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector of the University, Talantbek Madumarov, who read out the heartfelt holiday greetings sent by the rector of the university on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of granting the Uzbek language the status of the state language. In his speech, he emphasized the incomparable role of the native language in national self-awareness and the need to educate the younger generation in the spirit of respect for the native language and spiritual upliftment.
During the event, talented students performed national songs, dances, poems, and stage performances expressing deep respect and love for our native language, giving the evening a festive spirit and artistic delight.
During the event, professors and teachers spoke, emphasizing that the language of every nation is its invaluable wealth and national pride. They also noted that the great examples of culture, scientific discoveries, and artistic masterpieces created by our ancestors are recognized in the world precisely through the Uzbek language, emphasizing that the preservation and enrichment of the native language is the sacred duty of every citizen.
At the end of the event, the actively participating students were awarded certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts by the university administration, and their initiative and artistic performances were highly appreciated.
