Today, on September 30, a festive event was held in the assembly hall of Andijan State University under the motto “You are the mirror of life, dear teacher” in connection with 1st October — “Teachers and Mentors Day”.

At the festive event, the rector of the university, Bakhtiyorjon Akbaraliyev, spoke and sincerely congratulated the professors and teachers of our university, who selflessly work in the field of education and upbringing, on the professional holiday — “Teachers and Mentors Day”.

At the festive evening, warm and sincere words were spoken about the life path of mentors, their pedagogical skills, and their incomparable role in the upbringing of today's generation, poems and songs performed by students, stage performances, and festive greetings gave the event an uplifting mood, while interesting performances by the master of words Elmurod Khaknazarov and the participation of People's Artist of Uzbekistan Murodil Khakimov gave the guests an unforgettable festive mood.

At the end of the event, the rector of the university Bakhtiyorjon Akbaraliyev solemnly presented the honorary certificates of the governor of the region and commemorative gifts prepared by the trade union committee of employees and students of the university to the honorary teachers and wished all teachers good health, respect, and great success in their future activities.
