Main responsibilities of the department:

• Monitor and control the quality of personnel training at the university;

• Analyze student knowledge in accordance with state educational standards and assess the level of subject mastery;

• Build a faculty capable of ensuring high-quality education, including selecting, hiring, and creating transparent and objective organizational mechanisms for improving teachers' qualifications and professional skills;

• Regularly analyze the teaching quality of faculty members;

• Organize internal evaluation of the university and take corrective measures based on the results;

• Examine whether the educational process is properly organized according to regulatory and legal requirements and assess the efficiency of the HEMIS system (including timely and complete data entry and proper implementation of the credit-module system);

• Evaluate whether qualification requirements, curricula, and programs align with professional standards and labor market demands to ensure the training of competitive specialists;

• Develop detailed conclusions about the position of graduates in the labor market, demand for their specialties, and the sustainability of their fields;

• Evaluate whether educational sessions are based on modern pedagogical and information technologies, and whether teaching quality control is properly implemented;

• Monitor the involvement of qualified industry (practical) specialists in the teaching process;

• Assess the effectiveness of measures taken to ensure transparency and fairness in student knowledge assessment and grading;

• Review whether faculty members have undergone professional development and whether academic programs incorporate recent scientific developments;

• Analyze the fairness in the distribution of teaching workloads among faculty members;

• Assess conditions created for students and teachers in the Information Resource Center, availability of textbooks for each subject, and provide proposals to the administration;

• Analyze the organization of independent learning, including the development of guidelines, setting of requirements, and proper planning of student workload;

• Ensure the implementation of anti-plagiarism software at the university, promote academic integrity, and systematically organize efforts against cheating;

• Participate in the review of activities of other higher education institutions as instructed by the Ministry;

• Analyze whether university faculty qualifications align with the subjects they teach, and check if they have completed retraining or possess the appropriate academic degrees and titles; report findings to the rector;

• Analyze the condition of the material and technical base used in the educational process, and make proposals for its improvement;

• Monitor the organization and effectiveness of student internships, ensuring they align with academic programs and specializations;

• Organize training seminars and workshops aimed at improving the quality of education in cooperation with relevant university departments.
