MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE CENTER:
Organization and management of computer and information infrastructure.
Development of electronic libraries and information systems, and implementation of automated information systems in the educational process. Introduction of information technologies and distance learning systems at the university level.
Organizing seminars for professors and teaching staff on current issues of information technologies and distance learning.
Providing teachers, doctoral students, and students with access to the internet and ensuring the use of national educational and scientific networks.
In cooperation with university faculties and departments, developing the educational and methodological base for distance learning, including the creation of electronic textbooks, teaching materials, and course modules for distance education.

Establishing scientific and creative cooperation with other higher educational institutions, centers, and departments of the Republic, as well as with foreign universities.
Conducting preliminary quality assessment (initial expert review) of software tools and automated information systems developed under the university.
Monitoring the quality of laboratory classes conducted by university departments in computer labs and providing them with scientific and practical guidance.
Attracting investments to develop information technologies and distance learning systems.
Implementing security measures to protect information.
Developing proposals for studying and implementing the latest achievements in information technologies.
Putting forward proposals for the informatization of university activities and their financing.
Engaging specialists from other organizations, including on a contractual basis.
Requesting necessary information from university departments and divisions to carry out the Center’s activities.
